Nikita, the girls only outerwear brand, has announced that it will be organising a competition tour this winter, as part of the qualification for the annual Nikita Chickita contest. The company is taking over several of the best snowparks in Switzerland at various stages throughout the winter, giving local lasses and visitors the chance to earn themselves a spot at the prestigious jam format contest.

Nikita’s tour kicks off in January 16th in Villars before heading on to Hoch Ybrig in the German part of Switzerland on February 6th and Adelboden on February 20th. The tour will come back to the French-speaking part of the country on March 6th to Crans-Montana. The final will be held in Thyon on March 2nd, and the winners will then go through to the main Nikita Chickita Europe comp, which takes place on April 10th in Serfaus, Austria.

As well as these qualifying legs, Nikita are organising a couple of extras, including a rail jam contest in Les Diablerets on December 12th and a jib jam in Montreux on January 22nd. The tour will be a sick opportunity for European amateurs and pros to show their skills and earn themselves a chance to perform on one of the biggest stages in women’s snowboarding.
