Snolf is back for 2012! On Tuesday 23rd October, head up (or down) to the UK’s original SnowDome for an evening of bogeys, birdies, snowboarding and ridiculous golf attire – that last one’s optional ;)
Snolf works a little like this: riders pick a trick (preferably one that they can stomp consistently). 9 tricks will be picked at random and allocated a PAR score based on their level of difficulty. All of the riders then try each of the 9 tricks and will be scored and marked on the leaderboard like so:
The rider with the lowest score average at the end of the night will rise to the top of the leaderboard and be crowned the winner of Snolf 2012.An easy trick would score 0 if landed, while a more difficult or really difficult trick if landed would score -1 or -2 respectively. On the flipside, if tricks aren’t stomped you’ll pick up a point – or two points if it happened to be the trick that you picked (so no 630’s on/off then!). The top guys typically finish at around -1 (birdie) or -2 (eagle). Sound complicated? It’s not – you land all your tricks, you win! Simples.
Snolf is being made possible by Thirty Two, Endeavor, Spy and a host of other sponsors who will be providing prizes for the evening – if previous events are anything to go by, it promises to be a PAR-tay!
