The release date for the first section of the Nike Snowboarding Project is just under two weeks away. If you’d forgotten, Nike have shot three distinct parts for their team movie this year, the first in the streets (16th Oct), the second in the park (13th Nov) and the third in the backcountry (11th Dec) and each will be dropping online in turn. Here’s a bonus video from chapter one which follows Johnnie Paxson and photographer Andy Wright to Japan, where they have a run in or two with the iron fist that is Japanese law enforcement. We also get a look at how long it can take to stomp a single trick – don’t know about you but we personally don’t think we could have climbed all the way up a building that many times; that’s some serious dedication right there. Although, it’s not like you’d be able to get that close, that many times and walk away without a shot. Suffice it to say that this has us pretty excited for chapter one – I mean, we didn’t even get to see the trick stomped after all that! Damn you Nike and your teasing ways.
