http://mpora.com/videos/3c3pb8RfG Well, that came around fast. After the recent stop in the Austrian resort of Hochkönig, there’s only one round of the Nike Chosen snowboard talent search left. They’ll be hoping that they get better weather at the final stop in Norway, but they couldn’t ask for a more fun sesh.
Much like the Italian leg, some fresh snow threatened to make things difficult for the organisers, but after some overnight grafting the setup was ready and the riders had their work cut out. Things didn’t clear up in time for the comp, but a bit of blue paint meant that the 15m kicker was still on. Stephan Wimmer‘s cat-like ability to stomp everything, even in bad vis, meant that he’s going to the week-long final in April.
Almost all the invites are accounted for, so it’s time to start thinking about who might win it. It’s a wide open field with lots of different styles and it’s anyones to…. oh who are we kidding: Andy Nudds for the win!
