Here’s what happens if your snowboard company’s R&D budget is akin to Greece’s national debt – the Burton Mystery mens’ snowboard:
The name comes from the top-secret ‘Mystery Glass’ and ‘Mystery Construction’ used on the board. Now we don’t know what that means (and we’re sure Burton would like it to stay that way), but we gather that this is the lightest board ever built. Given it’s ridiculously high-end nature, expect it to set you back the best part of a grand. However, the B aren’t just taking the piss – much like prototype cars, what you’re potentially looking at is the future of snowboard construction.
Don’t forget that you can leave a review on Mpora Gear and win £100! Although, if you’ve already bought one of these, we doubt you’d get out of bed for that….
