I think this may be my favourite headline ever. Love him or loathe him, Shaun White knows how to attract attention. The burning question coming into 2012 was: just how could he top those skinny black jeans?

Well worry ye not, the ginger ninja has it all under control. First we have exhibit A, the leopard-skin pants (tights? leggings? jeggings?)…

Nice to see him going for the Snow Leopard option I guess. Keepin’ it OSX 10.6… Next we have his dramatic withdrawal from the slopestyle event. Conspiracy theorists will no doubt ponder if he didn’t fancy his chances against the new breed of triple cork stompers and he was laying it on a bit thick, or maybe he really did nail himself. Either way though, was this theatrical exit in a blacked-out car, while some minion hurried to take his board, really necessary? Presidents have had less chaotic getaways.

Tonight will be very interesting indeed. Will Shaun overcome his ankle injury to dominate the Superpipe final once again? And more importantly, will he be going for the full leopard-print ensemble?
