The new Deeluxe Aeris Pro boots immediately caught our attention so we had to hop on the good foot and put them through their paces.
“This is a boot for charging hard and fast, spraying skiers, laying out saucy carves and boosting big lines.”
Kevin Backstrom knows a thing or two (or seven million) about snowboarding, but we didn’t just choose his pro model boot because of him. The performance on offer here is genuinely top-notch.
This is a boot for charging hard and fast, spraying skiers, laying out saucy carves and boosting big lines. But it does all of this without being so stiff that you can’t take casual laps when you want to- a best-of-both-worlds that gives big mountain freestyle its time in the sun.

“The liner maketh the boot” Didn’t William Shakespeare say that? A boot can have all the bells and whistles in the world, but if it’s not comfortable enough to spend a whole day riding, then it’s simply not worth having. Comfort starts with the liner, and Deeluxe were the first brand to bring thermomouldable liners to the market, and as much as I hate bandying around the term ‘game-changer ’, this genuinely was one. The Aeris Pro uses Deeluxe’s Stage 3 liner, which not only can be custom fitted to your feet, but also features a four-way stretch panel in the toe box to allow natural movement.
The external harness locks your foot into place, alleviating the risk of heel slip and, in turn, allowing you to drive more precision and power when going edge to edge. Getting them moulded to your feet is a super easy process and although the Aeris Pro are already comfy straight out the box, they go next level when they’ve been custom fitted.
“When you’re pushing the limits on speed and power, you need a boot that will react accordingly, exactly how and when you want it to.”
Deeluxe aren’t taking any chances when it comes to lacing; they use their Speed Lace system for the body of the Aeris Pro, with a separate BOA that cinches over the heel, backing up the harness on the liner. Having this modular lacing allows you to dial in the perfect fit, keeping things locked in where you need it, and looser where you may want it.
The Aeris Pro is built for charging, and the Rapid React Modular Technology does exactly what it says on the tin here. When you’re pushing the limits on speed and power, you need a boot that will react accordingly, exactly how and when you want it to. Using an injection-moulded TPU tongue booster, the Aeris Pro channels rider input instantly for rapid edge-to-edge transitions and precision no matter the pace.

Durable enough to pull out of the locker day after day, comfortable enough to rock from first lifts to last beers and stiff enough to hoon it- these are an instant winner. Whether you prefer pointing and shooting on piste, lining up for big takeoffs in the park, or getting your kicks building sidecountry kickers, the Aeris Pro is a boot that’ll have your back. And your feet.

“These are stiffer than I’d normally ride, but the new tech in the Deeluxe tongues made the world of difference. The stiffness still had a consistent flex rather than sitting your shins against a solid plate. As always with Deeluxe, they were super comfortable right out of the box, and they’re stylish as hell.
If you’re looking for a stiffer boot for Mach-10 charging, this is a winner”
