Anyone following snowboarding with a keen eye will have noticed that Bataleon have been making some serious moves this winter, building a team that blends cultural icons, podium challengers and video part virtuosos.
It started earlier this year with Halldór Helgason joining long-time Bataleon bestie Ethan Morgan. Then, just last week, came a surprise St Patrick’s Day signing: US Olympic team rider Sean Fitzsimons.
And now, here we are welcoming the man who makes snowboarding look too damn easy, the one and only – Gabe Ferguson. Known for a style that gets even his most decorated peers fired up, Gabe blends old-school hesh with modern precision in a way few can match.
With a string of video parts under his belt — including a standout entry in Brown Cinema’s “Knights of the Brown Table“, Gabe has built a reputation as a true workhorse. We’ve already heard that as soon as he scrawled his name on the contract, he headed out the door with a Bataleon Board in one hand and a camera in the other…Sure, the camera was quickly passed back to the filmer so he could light up — but the point stands, exciting things to come!
