Whitelines Ones To Watch | Class of 2026

There's a changing of the guard, and these young bucks are coming in HOT

Young, hungry and full of beans, there’s a new generation of rippers who are muscling their way onto our social feeds and into the spotlight. While they might not all be global names just yet, if we were betting folk, we’d be putting our money on these young guns being the ones to shape the future of snowboarding. Sit up and take notice, because these riders are the Whitelines Ones To Watch, Class of 2026.

Name: Riley Sharpe
Age: 11
From: UK
Sponsors: Burton, Anon, TSA, Stance,
The UK might not have much in the way of mountains, resorts or even snow, but it produces a helluva lotta talent that refuses to be ignored. Before he’d even aged out of primary school, Riley was winning acclaim at multiple global events, and he wasn’t even competing against his peers; he was spanking grown adults… Cool as a cucumber with unflappable flow and a laidback style that harks back to early JP Walker, Riley’s got his eyes on the prize.

Name: Jess Perlmutter
Age: 16
From: NJ/Vermont
Sponsors: Darkside Snowboards, CAPiTA, Union, Monster Army, Modest Eyewear, Coal Headwear, Dimito, ThirtyTwo

You’ve probably been living under a rock or been detoxing from social media completely, if you’ve not heard of Jess Perlmutter yet, but no list of Up and Comers would be complete without her. An absolute sultan of steel, she’s got one of the tidiest front board pretzels in the game, and she’s not even old enough to watch R-Rated movies yet… Podiums at Red Bull Heavy Metal, The Uninvited Invitational, DIYX, Rockstar Energy Open, The Bomb Hole Cup and X Games Aspen are just a few of the accolades she’s earned so far, and with her spot secured for the Olympics in Milano Cortina, it’s safe to say Jess isn’t slowing down any time soon.

Name: Rocco Jamieson
Age: 19
From: Christchurch, NZ
Sponsors: Monster, Smith, Nitro, BS Rabbit

You ever watch someone ride and just think ‘holy tits, they’ve got it’? We can’t quite describe what ‘it’ is, it’s that je ne sais quoi some riders possess that just makes everything they do look on point. Whatever it is, Rocco’s got a shitload of it. A Big Air and Slopestyle phenom, but Rocco doesn’t fit the cookie-cutter idea of a comp circuit rider; he’s old-school to a tee, doesn’t throw safety runs and is part of the new-age, nu-metal wave of riders who are subverting the paradigms of what a competitive rider ‘should be’.

A post shared by Marie Kuhlmann (@marie_kuhlmann_)

Name: Marie Kuhlmann
Age: 14
From: Germany
Sponsors: Deeluxe, CAPiTA, Union, Volcom, Amplifi, Dragon

Marie Kuhlmann collects podiums like Pokémon cards, scoring wins at Rookie Fest, Jib King, Rock a Rail and The Uninvited Euro Open, just to name a few. This young Euro ripper reps Team Germany and has consistently proved her mettle on the metal (even walking away from one of the most wince-worthy bails we’ve seen in a while…), but Marie’s far from a one-trick pony. A true slopestyle phenom, Marie’s got a tidy frontside 9 on lock and gobbles up full-size booters for breakfast.

Name: Colin Frans
Age: 16
From: Minnesota
Sponsors: Nidecker, Monster Army, Check The Feed, Dang Shades, Deeluxe

Colin Fran’s got a rail game so lethal it should come with a warning label. At just 16 years old, he’s got a 270 pretz so filthy that it’d make a sailor blush. He recently lived out his Euro Trip remix and cleaned up at Rock a Rail like he was on a summer internship for Ms Hannigan. Jibs, jumps, and everything in between, Colin’s already triple corking his way into our list of favourite riders to watch.

Name: Bella Warren
Age: 20
From: Minnesota
Sponsors: Nidecker, Modest, Coal

Another midwest ripper to keep your peepers peeled for (seriously, is there something in the water out there?), Bella Warren is colder than a cast-iron toilet seat in Yakutsk. From scoring a coveted Wildcard spot at the Uninvited Invitational in Utah to riding away winning the Baldface Stoke Award, Bella’s hype is clearly infectious, and she’s got a naughty switch back 2 in the locker that’ll have you feeling some typa way. Her cool-as-a-cucumber laps at the Rockstar Open had her claim a podium spot and walk away with the Nixon Best Time Award, no mean feat considering the elite competition she was up against.

Name: Mia Langridge
Age: 18
From: UK
Sponsors: YES Snowboards, Dragon Europe, ThirtyTwo, TSA

DIYX, El Tony’s Crew Clash, Jib Queen, Rock a Rail, Apik Fest- Mia’s been on one helluva a tear the past year, sweeping podiums and putting on clinics at rail jams across the globe. Mia’s blend of new-school aesthetics with a decidedly old-school style caught the eye of Halldor Helgason, who quickly drew her into the YES Snowboards inner sanctum, where she’s been going toe-to-toe with the big dogs and easily holding her own. Case in point: bikini backy over the flames in Krakow, ‘nuff said.

A post shared by Eli Bouchard (@eli.bouchard)

Name: Eli Bouchard
Age: 18
From: Quebec, Canada
Sponsors: Forum, Stingray Music, McGill St Laurent

Canadian wunderkind Eli Bouchard’s got a bag of tricks deeper than the Mariana Trench, and even more impressively, he broke the mould and conjured some of them up himself. His signature McBoutch had Chris Grenier and Danny Davis scratching their noggins trying to figure out just what was going on, as he puts it, “a butter 180 into a double sloth roll finished with a cab 3”. Keep your peepers peeled for this kid, his creativity, extra tweaky style, and versatility earmark him as someone who’s gonna make a big impact on snowboarding in the coming years.

A post shared by Dima Luchkin (@luchik_dima)

Name: Dima Luchkin
Age: 16
From: Kyiv, Ukraine
Sponsors: Burton, Anon

A Ukrainian transplant who had a triple underflip under his belt by age 13, Dima Luchkin’s been working his way up the European scene with aplomb. An absolute menace on the booters, Dima’s got an in-air style that feels almost gymnastic in its fluidity and a cat-like ability to land on his feet. A triple threat and then some, when he’s not stacking podiums for Slopestyle, Big Air or rail jams, you’ll find Dima cruising concrete bowls or flipping out in the wakepark- a true master of standing sideways.

Name: Sara Shimizu
Age: 16
From: Japan
Sponsors: Red Bull, Yonex, Roxy

The Japanese domination of Half Pipe is a well-documented phenomenon, but if there’s one name we predict you’ll be seeing a lot more of in the coming years, it’s Sara Shimizu. This teenage wunderkind became the youngest woman ever win a Halfpipe World Cup, and has podiumed at multiple world Champs and X Games. You best believe she’s gonna be coming in hot for the upcoming Olympic Games in Milano Cortina, and we wouldn’t be surprised if she rides away with a medal to add to the Silver she won at the Youth Olympics in 2024.

Name: Derek Lemke
Age: 25
From: Howell, Michigan
Sponsors: Rome, Monster, L1 Outerwear

Derek Lemke cut his teeth on the competitive Slopestyle and Big Air circuits before settling into his role as one of this generation’s most exciting street riders. His part in Rome’s latest drop SWARM, is a certified banger, and if you’ve not already seen it, what the hell are you doing? Derek hopped the pond and served up a veritable buffet of bangers in Krakow for DIYX and left not a single crumb behind. We’re basically foaming at the mouth waiting to see what Derek gets up to next…
