One of our favourite snowboard events returns to the Swiss Alps this spring, The Nines. After last years success, the Nines will return to Crans-Montana in the beautiful Swiss canton of Valais, from the 4th to the 9th of April 2022.

2022 marks the year for the 30th edition of the Nines, and we’ve already had quite a few big names confirm their attendance, such as Zeb Powell (USA), Zoi Sadowski-Synnott (NZL) Marcus Kleveland (NOR), Anna Gasser (AUT) and Sebbe De Buck (BEL) – and the list is still growing.
Entries are also open now for the Red Bull Phenom X Become A Nine wildcard video contest, through which an additional four riders—men and women, ski and snowboard—can qualify for an invite to this future session.
However, you don’t need to be the next big thing to get in on the fun. On the 9th of April, The Nines Public Day will invite all comers to Crans-Montana’s Plaine Morte glacier to witness the madness for themselves.
