It’s what? Its. Tits. The badass younger sister of the infamous Holy Bowly, IT’S TITS is the brainchild of the Queen of cool, the Sultan of steez, the Matriarch of madness herself- Jess Kimura. She’s your favourite snowboarders favourite snowboarder and that’s just facts. Working alongside Krush Kulesza of Snowboy Productions to create the event, Jess has managed to pull it out the bag yet again. A 4 day progression session with some of the best female rippers in the game, razzing round a custom built transition course, with proceeds going to B4BC? It’s an emphatic yes from us.

The second annual IT’S TITS! took place at Timberline up on Mt Hood earlier this month, with ladies from far and wide flocking to Oregon to have a slushy spring session and show that they’ve got what it takes to roll with the big dogs. The up and comers were slashing and spinning alongside the likes of Desiree Melancon and the legendary Barrett Christy, the street riders were rubbing shoulders with the powder hounds and everyone was absolutely stomping it.

The one of a kind course was designed with fun in mind, it’s ridable practically top to bottom, with bowls, walls and hips galore- and of course what would a breast cancer fundraiser be without a couple of boobs to bonk off of. The diggers deserve several pats on the back, and possibly several cases of beer, for creating 2 B4BC ribbons out of snow that the girls could hit as well. The unique set up allowed riders to showcase their skills no matter their riding style, and all the girls were constantly hyping each other up to try new tricks, bigger gaps and faster runs.

Jess has been at the forefront of the huge push behind women’s riding in the last few years, her project ‘The Uninvited‘ was one of the most exciting snowboard movies out in 2018. It brought a butt load of attention to a bunch of rad girls who are drop kicking perceptions of what it’s possible for girls to achieve in snowboarding.

With the support of Monster Energy, 10 Barrel Brewing, Gnu Snowboards, Diecutstickers.com, and all of the riders and crew involved the event was a huge success. It’s fast becoming the punk rock pinnacle of women’s snowboarding. We’re amped to see what comes from IT’S TITS 3 (triple tits?), and we’re not entirely sure how they’re gonna top this one, but we’re sure they will somehow.
