Nike 6.0 are launching a brand new competition over the course of the next month which will pit some of the UK’s finest riders against the best in Europe. The Stairset Battle, as the comp is known, is a kind of a cool concept. Nine countries across Europe will be given the chance to hold a jam on the Nike 6.0 rail set-up, with different resorts from each country competing for the honour. When all the rail jams are done and dusted, the winner of the best-trick comp from each jam will head to an as-yet-undisclosed location for a final international showdown. Pretty cool eh?

But before one of our finest young dome shreds sallies forth in an attempt to stick it to Johnny foreigner, we need to decide which UK dome will host the battle. Three of them – MK, Castleford and Braehead – have been nominated by the guys at 6.0, but only one will get the stairset jam. And it’s up to YOU, the voting public, to decide which one it is. Voting is currently open at the Nike 6.0 Facebook page, but it closes at the end of this month. At the moment, the exact details of the jam that the winning dome gets to host aren’t certain, but rumour has it it’ll be taking place sometime in December. And we reckon given the amount Nike are putting into this (and the amount they have to start with, I mean this is Nike we’re talking about here!) that this’ll be a night to remember. So if you want to see a big-ass party at your local slope with the creme de la creme of UK shredding turning up, then get involved and get voting!
