Burton posted this rad little video on their website theliftline.tv recently featuring Stefan Maurer, Terje Haakonsen, Peetu Piiroinen, Freddi Kalbermatten, Keegan Valaika and Nicolas Muller. There’s nothing particularly tech or gnarly about this (OK, so maybe that avalanche is gnarly, but we mean in terms of lines) but it’s a classic example of why you don’t necessarily need either for snowboarding to be fun. Most of us could probably do this stuff, but it still gets the pros stoked – just check out Maurer’s grin as he gets stuck in on his Fish, or listen to Muller’s wild whooping at the end. Hell yeah, now that’s what it’s all about.
