Dan Wakeham may have stopped riding the FIS circuit, but he’s keeping himself hella busy. As well as running the Head and Grenade UK teams, he’s also involved in coaching at the One Snowboarding camps, which he himself set up. On top of all of this, he somehow manages to find time to ride for himself, and racked up a string of impressive results last year including a 16th place at the O’Neill Evolution in Switzerland. Obviously the big man’s still got what it takes, because O’Neill recently invited him to be part of their outerwear team, putting him alongside the likes of Gian Simmen, Frederik Evensen and JJ Roux. Nice one Dan!
