After making it’s big return to LAAX last year – the British Snowboard Championships are heading back to the home of freestyle next month for another round of competition.
Promising, as always, the best the UK has to offer in snowsports, dome kids, dryslopers, ex-pats and globe trotting pros alike will gather for a week at Crap Sogn Gion, where we’ll witness the latest offerings in Slopestyle, Halfpipe and Boardercross. With this year also marking the return of Big Air, mirroring a bolstering of the discipline as ladies big air makes moves at X Games and the like.
2nd – 9th of April are the dates to put in the diary if you’re keen to get involved, with a £5 discount if you pre-register at the-brits.com, where you’ll also find details for getting yourself accomodation, flights and transfers.
World Cup Gold Medallist Katie Ormerod, Billy Morgan, Jamie Nicholls are down to join, and any British passport holding riders are welcome, so get involved. And if you’re not keen to compete, evening entertainment in the form of Tim and Gendle’s Famous First Words are worth the trip alone, alongside a Mexican night and dance act Flirtini for the evening entertainment. Get stuck in.
