When’s the best time to watch a pre-season edit? Answer: not during pre-season. It sucks watching others do what you’ve been dreaming of all summer whilst your storage wax is still rock solid, plus given it’s such a huge concentration of riders warming tricks up in a handful of parks they’re invariably pretty similar.
Yes, so much better to see this kinda thing in February, and even more so as it’s Jake Simpson doing the riding here. Passionate for it but more excitable than a weaning puppy, it’s a surprise that there’s not a trail of happy pee following him down the hill. There’s some big boy tricks in here too, kudos.
