On June 19th riders from all over the globe came to compete in the 3star One Big Parkzeit comp in Neuss, Germany.
For the first time, the competition became part of the swatch TTR World snowboard tour. This ensured that the quality of shredding was on a completely different level compared to previous years.
The four judges were pleasantly surprised with the extraordinary talent of the riders, especially in the finals. Flo Penzinger one of the judges says: ” The quality of the snowboarders this year was as high as never before because its TTR status. Riders came from everywhere to participate in the contest.” The Brits that were there also turned a few heads with Jordy Gee, a rising star from Manchester, earning himself an impressive 5th place.
Almost 100 boarders from eight nations, from the age of 14 to 54 came to show off their steeze. The first prize that was up for grabs was an epic road trip to Salzburg’s One Big Park. Sponsors such as DC, Vans, Nitro and Rome were all there to hand out some well deserved merc to the runners up.
