A Chef’s Season Edit – Johan Rosén 13/14

We just got sent this awesome, well rounded season edit from a Swedish chef based in BC, Canada. And no, we don’t mean this guy:

Swedish chef, not based in BC

The guy in the video is Johan Rosén who – when he wasn’t flipping burgers, force-feeding geese or flambéing snail porridge (we’re not sure quite how good of a chef he is) – spent last season dropping cliffs and hitting rails in the British Columbian interior.

And as ex-crappy season job workers ourselves it’s awesome seeing someone get so rad whilst holding down a day job.

It’s refreshing to be sent a season edit from an unknown rider with this much variety, heaps better than the usual season-in-the-park we receive (you can do a boardslide 270 out too? Awesome!).

Instead Johan is out there sending pillow lines and exploring to find some rad rails and interesting wallride features and making snowboarding do what it does best: turning the winter into an adventure. Not just a daily commute up the gondola to the park.

And as ex-crappy season job workers ourselves it’s awesome seeing someone get so rad whilst holding down a day job. If you can do a backflip as slow as the one at 2.17 then go back to work and cook a seven course meal, well, you might just be a true snowboarder.

Keep on trucking Johan.
