Last week Whitelines headed out to the small French resort of La Clusaz, where brands were gathered with the first samples of their new gear for the 2014-2015 season.
Arranged as a showcase for shops and media, the Avant Premiere event gave us a chance not only to look at the new kit, but also to test it out for ourselves: We weren’t so much kids in a candy store as Charlie in the Chocolate Factory.
We weren’t so much kids in a candy store as Charlie in the Chocolate Factory.
Over the course of the three days we managed to ride and review a fair few boards. We’ll be sharing our considered opinions on the pick of the bunch over the course of the next few months, and in the 2014 Whitelines 100 Issue – the Snowboard Buyers’ Bible.
Unfortunately we couldn’t test everything, but we did manage to get a whole load of snapshots of next season’s kit, which we’ll be posting on the website over the next few weeks. The new models, new graphics and crazy new shapes on offer are all pretty exciting.
First up is our sneak peak of Burton’s 2014-2015 range of boards. There’s some seriously rad stuff in here!
