This is the sequel to last month’s Tarantino-esque debut from the Tamworth-based “9 Milli Media” crew. Once again the filming and editing really is top-notch, up there with any amateur crew worldwide we’d say – let alone on a Snowdome budget. Check out John Weatherley’s slow-mo smoke ring blowing at the start – it’s well moody! The riding, from Weatherley, Ross Needham, Doug Johnson, Pat Hobson and Will Smith, is also off the chain. These Grindhouse videos are proof that those grimey indoor halls can add to the atmosphere of a snowboard film if you do it right, and are hopefully dragging up the level of both UK shredding and video making.
