Scottish ripper Matt McCormick is no stranger to landing a jump or two, having honed his skills on the resident kicker at Bearsden dryslope. Thankfully for him, snow, particularly summer snow, is a little more forgiving to land on than snowflex – especially when that landing happens to be on your face. While out training with the GB Junior Snowboard Team in Saas-Fee, Matt got a little taste of accidental horizontal flight, with this superman to penguin on one of the pro line kickers. We’re guessing he didn’t go quite as deep as one Emilia Vanni (get that watched if you haven’t already – near death experience right there…) and apparently caught the transition just fine, managing to ‘ride out’ on his chest like a boss.

Crashing must be contagious though as it seems like Matt’s also caused the cameraman to bin it as well! Classic!
