Incredible eurocarving: Russian ‘Extreme Slalom’

This just in via our friends at Onboard mag – the most entertaining snowboard edit you’ll watch all day. A bunch of Russian dudes fully laid out on the snow, eurocarving the hell out of an ‘extreme slalom’ course that makes doing the limbo look like a game of chess with your grandma.

Don’t be fooled by the slightly awkward/cheesy Lockstock inspired intro, as once out on the snow, these guys absolutely rip. We can’t say we’ve ever come close to eurocarving this good ourselves but it sure looks like a lot of fun – just don’t run over a mogul while your at it. Tell you what though, it would take some persuading to get us into a pair of hard boots these days…

After the epic eurocarve to jibs in the latest Yawgoons edit as well as Scott Stevens‘ tendency to lay one out from time to time, is this most bizarre of snowboard maneuvers (by today’s standards) coming back into fashion? Did it ever leave?

This ain’t the only crazy video to come out of Russia recently either…
