Signal snowboards have really outdone themselves with this latest Every Third Thursday episode. While previous offerings such as the bullet proof snowboard and the fly fishing snowboard are undoubtedly rad, they have limited practical use in the real world (at least we certainly hope so in the case of the former).
But a solar powered snowboard? Now THAT’S useful. The Signal dudes attach a paper-thin, flexible sheet of solar powered film to the top of a board, then wire it all up to a battery charger. They then use it to charge up their phones, cameras and pretty much anything else they can lay their hands on, in between shredding it in the park. Awesome.
