Construction and Materials

The main material in the K2 Marauder snowboard is a BAP core, made with three species of wood which have been sustainably sourced. The BAP core is lightweight yet highly durable, wrapped with a Biax fiberglass layer to increase the lifespan of the board.

Carbon stringers woven into the fiberglass span from the nose to the tail, driving power through the board to increasing response without affecting the torsional twist.

No high-performance board is complete without a sintered base, the sintered 4000 base is a super tough base that retains wax well to keep you gliding over flats with speed. Sintered bases are the easiest to repair, so K2 have coloured the base black to hide any damage or repairs.
