Bataleon GW – SNOWBOARD BUYERS’ GUIDE REVIEW
A new one from Bataleon, the G.W. stands for “Global Warmer”. Basically Bataleon have said bollocks to all the eco stuff and made what they think is the best park board possible, using whatever materials they want. From a rider point of view, although this has high-end components like carbon inserts, a sintered base and a hardwood reinforced core, it’s actually got a soft flex. A board for the discerning jib connoisseur.
Bataleon GW – WHAT THE BRAND SAYS
The G.W. aka Global Warmer is not a ‘Green’ board. It even has added carbon which is bad for nature but sure increases your pop. Is taking a fractional amount of sustainable materials and sandwiching it between plastic with a pot of glue really green though? A top-shelf park board with all of the tech, yet it comes with a softer flex. Just be sure to carpool to the hill.
