The Details:

Bataleon’s sister binding company hasn’t been around for long, but it’s made a big impact in that time. Their modular approach (pick your own combination of baseplate, highback and straps) has proven popular, of course, but they also offer signature set-ups based on the preferences of their top team riders.

The Switchback Ethan Morgan Pro binding was made with the input of everyone’s favourite German-American shredder. He’s favoured the ‘Wrapback’ winged highback, which comes in handy when you’re pressing the hell out of a rail or ledge.

Also present is the ST baseplate pad which has even padding throughout, and the new Eames Straps which are sturdy and solid.

As a finishing touch, the binding features glow-in-the-dark materials that are bound to liven up any night-time rail mission. Obviously if that – or any other element of Ethan’s set-up – isn’t for you then you can always change up any part of the binding, as well as its colour.
