Wouldn’t it be nice to have a stack of different boards at your disposal, across the whole spectrum of shapes and sizes? While ‘the quiver’ remains a dream for those on a budget (and especially for those who use budget airlines), Ride reckons that its new stick – the Alter Ego – is the next best thing.
It’s certainly a fresh take, offering more choice than either a standard tail or a swallow. But does it work?
As the name suggests (and as you can see clearly in the video below), the Alter Ego has two different settings. However, unclipping it in the deep stuff allows the tail to sink down and make powder riding easier – and more fun – than ever.
