Jamie Lynn x BMBW Transfer

Bent Metal Binding Works is proud to be collaborating with iconic snowboarder, artist and Mervin Manufacturing family member Jamie Lynn on the new Bent Metal Transfer binding! In many ways Jamie Lynn is freestyle snowboarding. His Method, his frontside 360 and his Cab spins set the bar impossibly high for style and technique from the mid 90s to now. As of late this enigmatic legend is finding all new stoke and ways to push his skill set, still catching more air than anyone else off a bump, from Baldface to Holy Bowly.

Working closely with the BMBW engineering and design team headed up by long time Mervin employee and on-snow ripper Paul Ferrel, Jamie’s art, design and performance input on the Transfer model was instrumental. The all-terrain Transfer features a medium flex high back with an asymmetrical wing for full support, light form ankle and toe straps, forged aluminium buckles, the revolutionary Cube forward lean adjuster and of course BMBW’s signature Flex Control Drive Plate ablaze with Jamie art.

Made in Sequim, WA at Mervin Mfg, the Flex Control Drive plate acts as a miniature snowboard in your baseplate, using hand-laminated composite technology to bring different flex patterns to the binding itself. In the case of the Transfer it’s an aluminum / boron fiber modifier that helps to deliver an even and medium flex perfect for all conditions.
