Is it really the end of the World Snowboard Tour already? Given that we’re watching this season round-up fronted by Henry Jackson, we’re guessing it must be:
Despite this being all about WST, there’s a brief look at the Olympic slopestyle winners (specifically their tendency to turn up on chat show couches). Things soon turn back to the tour, with the winners being crowned after the Burton US Open. They are:
Max Parrot (big air – men), Jamie Anderson (slopestyle – women), Stale Sandbech (slopestyle – men), Kelly Clark (halfpipe – women) and Taku Hiraoka (halfpipe – men). Stale also took home the men’s overall gong, with Chloe Kim doing the same for the women’s tour.
There’s also some stuff about Chas Guldemond‘s attempts to organise his fellow riders post-Sochi, some partying, naked quarterpipe riding, and a Kent Callister method. The full spectrum of a WST season, then.
The 2014/15 season is already underway, with the UK’s Billy Morgan taking the first big win at the Spring Battle in Flachauwinkl. There’s a brief preview of that in this episode, including a fresh angle of Billy’s winning backside triple cork 1620. Yeesh.
