If you hadn’t heard, Torgeir Bergrem landed the world’s first backside triple cork 1620 the other day. While it’s one trick further along the rollercoaster of progression at the top of snowboarding, many clearly feel that these totally incomprehensible tricks are becoming more and more gymnastics on snow and less about what snowboarding is all about – having fun and riding with your own unique style.
Thankfully, on this recent session on a massive, slushy Northstar booter, Torgeir managed to throw some stylish little numbers in between all the meat hucking.
