Wow, this one is surreal. Over the course of Signal’s Every Third Thursday series, Dave Lee has produced a Lego board, a boombox board and even a dart board for us Brits. Now, rather than look at what hasn’t been done, they’ve gone for something that definitely has: Terry Kidwell‘s pro board from the 80s….
The challenge was to recreate the classic shape and design of Kidwell’s stick as faithfully as possible. By roping in legendary skateboard builder Paul Schmitt, they pulled it off, and Terry himself took it for a burn around the mountain. He may be an elder statesman of the sport, but he can still rip, even on a dodgy plank like that!
