The Nissan Freeride World Tour crowned its first ever Austrian champion a week ago the Verbier Xtreme, in the shape of Mitch Tolderer. Mitch was already one of the more recognisable faces in big mountain riding, with years of experience under his belt and a string of impressive results to his name, but the victory was surely one of the highlights of his career so far. I mean, he beat Xavier de le Rue to the title, which says something doesn’t it? His sponsor Jones Snowboards (yep, that’s Jeremy Jones’ brand) have produced this little video to celebrate their boy’s victory. It features the highlights from all of his Freeride World Tour lines this season. If you like your riding big, fast and gnarly, then this is well worth a watch.
