Kazuhiro Kokubo gets given a belt that works

Kazuhiro Kokubo earned himself a bit of notoriety at the Vancouver Olympics for turning up to meet the rest of the Japanese Olympic team with his trousers slung low and his shirt hanging out. Apparently, that kind of thing isn’t really acceptable if you’re Japanese, and people were accusing him of ‘disgracing his country’. Whatever! Kazu fucking killed it, cranking out easily one of the biggest and most stylish runs in the Olympic halfpipe comp. Anyway, what without all the furore surrounding his belt, it seems kind of appropriate that the pint-sized Japanese wonder has recently been hooked up by Armourdillo, a belt brand. Which of course is a great excuse for us to dust off this classic Kazu part from the film 7 Samurai, where he shows that he’s just as sick in the pow as in the pipe. Let’s just hope he keeps riding like this, and ignoring the bureaucrats who try and piss on his parade. Keep rocking Kazu!
