It’s official – Katie Ormerod is no longer a “rising star”, she has arrived. Having enjoyed a very successful season training and competing with the GB Freestyle team (including a 10th place finish at the FIS World Snowboard Championships in Quebec) she’s now crowned it all with this.
Filmed out in Mayrhofen, this footage makes Katie only the fifth woman in the world to have landed the trick. Not bad for a 15-year-old!
