Legendary snowboarder Terry Kidwell‘s glory days may be behind him, but he’s forgotten more about being a pro rider than most people could ever hope to know. Now he’s launched a new series of interviews with some of today’s big names, and he’s kicking things off with our kid Jamie Nicholls.

It’s a wierd format – we doubt they’re actually sitting down together – but it’s interesting to hear Jamie talk shop, from learning on Dendix to his first contest in Edinburgh as an 8-year-old. As you might expect from a guy who’s had the career he had, Terry has anecdotes aplenty. Not sure why he starts talking about old snowboards though; seems a bit off-topic!
