While drilling a new well shaft, some Chinese villagers happened to stumble upon a rather unusual looking funghi that not even the village elder had seen before. But what could this species be and how could they explain the ‘nose and eyes’ that ran all the way through the plant and the ‘slimy, meaty’ texture? Some background research also confirmed rumours that “Emperor Quingshi, while looking for the secret to longevity found this ‘herb’ to be one of its important ingredients” – which kind of makes sense we guess.

Bless their innocence eh? But seriously, did no one there see the blatant resemblance to a va-jay-jay? No one? The sex-toy industry clearly have some work to do…
