Kevin Jones and Dave Downing head to Bear Mountain to jam like two shredding dads in this little edit, normally the kind we’d expect to see from some young upstarts with their first handycam and Sum 41 album. If you don’t remember (or are too young to have heard of him) Kevin Jones was a kind of precursor to Shaun White who won every title the sport had to offer. Unlike White he burnt out and started a fishing lodge instead of transforming into some shin-bashing leopard-man, and now he’s back.
It’s good to see one of the giants of the sport shredding for himself, rather than any big sponsors (or as he called them in a Whitelines interview from a while back “Red Bull drinking f**king rock stars”) and it’s even better to see that he’s still got the goods. We reckon he should get on board for next year’s Air and Style, and teach these whippersnappers a thing or two about the good old days…
