The final episode from any Weekly Of Weird series is usually one that’s not to be missed – and while WOW8’s final bow isn’t quite the face-burning epic that ended the sixth series, it’s still a good ‘un.
Along with plenty of laughs, there’s a few tears too, as WOW stalwart London bids farewell to the crew. While Butch, Oily and the others came and went over the last few years, London was – along with bossman Doggy – the foundation of every episode.
It’s reassuring to hear that Doggy intends to continue “as long as my body moves”, and that his young apprentice will, at some point, reappear. But for now we’ll add our voice to those of the others; Arigato London!
