Rykkinn is a small commuter town outside of Oslo, and while it may seem like a sleepy hamlet they have got to be putting something in the water out there. Rykkinn is the breeding ground for Ståle Sandbech, Alek Østreng, Len Jørgensen and Olav Stubberud– aka the RK1 crew. RK1 are back with a vengeance with a bunch of their buds to tear shit up in Absolut Park. This edit marks the return of Olav to snowboarding and he kills it with the filming and editing, and the result is 8 minutes of pure mind melting riding.
The usual crew are joined by a heavy mixture of their friends Rene Rinnekangas, Torgeir Bergrem, Gimbal God, Frank Jobin and Zoi Sadowski-Synnott to stir up some magic in Flachauwinkl. We can’t stop watching Torgeir’s majestic stiffy (hahaha) at the beginning and Rene’s head drag across the knuckle is some of the gravity defying wizardry we’ve come to expect from the flying Finn.
