Chamonix Local? New Course Promises To Improve Your Riding

Chamonix outfit Horsemouth Snowboarding hit us up to promote a new course they’re running this year, dubbed the “continual development programme”.

Aimed at seasonaires, owner Paul McKeen explains that “it’s kind of like a snowboard club for Chamonix, we’re trying to get some locals on board for it. It’ll be freestyle focused but with all-round snowboarding as a theme.” With rumours still circling about a new park in Le Tour, this could be the time to brush up your skills on a regular basis.

In the meantime, Paul has followed up a favourite little POV edit of ours from last year with the video above, which aims to show people a realistic descent of some classic Chamonix lines around the Rond Glacier. If you’ve ever dreamed of tackling these faces yourself then take a look – as Paul says, “it shows a wide range of techniques” (not to mention an eclectic taste in 90s computer game music).
