Learned a new grab on that triple ???? #roastbeef ????@sebtoots #switzerland

OK, so it’s not quite as significant as when he landed the first switch quadruple underflip (narrowly beaten to the quad punch by Billy Morgan’s backside quadruple cork 1800 a few days before), but Max Parrot‘s latest take on the triple is impressive nonetheless.
Flimed by fellow Quebecois Seb Toots, Max chucks a classic roast beef grab (back hand goes between the legs and grabs the heel edge) into his backside triple cork 1400.
We’re undoubtedly now at a point where uber pros are so comfortable going for the triple dip that they can mix it up a little and free us all from mute-grab purgatory. Max isn’t the first, of course – Seppe Smits busted out the backside triple cork nosegrab at Nine Knights – but we like it nonetheless.
Considering the fact that some people still call it the poor man’s stalefish, it’s interesting to see that the humble roast beef is so hot right now – after Sven Thorgren’s Nine Knights-winning trick and now this, they’ll all be at it soon. Let’s just hope we don’t get to the point where we’re longing for mute grabs again…
