K2 Snowboarding drop their latest edit ‘Vertical’

K2’s done it again. Their latest short film follows Jody Wachniak, Matt Belzile and Curtis Ciszek shredding the deep throughout British Columbia, Alaska and beyond. If you feel like you’re a bit short on your backcountry fix, this ought to take care of that.

“If gnarly cliff drops and powder fields with endless amounts of untouched snow gets you going, we bet you’ll be hitting repeat a numerous amount of times on this clip”

First of all, the scenery is dope and we’re sure the crew didn’t mind spending bits of their 2018/19 winter season out filming in these conditions. By the looks of it, the boys were faced with some epic powder and bluebird skies. Or, they’ve just done a damn fine job of editing this thing. Either way, we’re stoked.

If gnarly cliff drops and powder fields with endless amounts of untouched snow gets you going, we bet you’ll be hitting repeat more than once after watching this clip. It’ll probably result in a serious re-evaluation of the choices you’ve made in life and ultimately end with you booking a one-way ticket to Canada #newyearnewme.

The boys are quick to put their gear to test too when tackling conditions like these, scoring K2 a solid A+.

Matt Belzile is putting his K2 Manifest board through thick and thin. This powder friendly rip stick is stiff enough to give you stability when stomping landings and aggressive enough to handle gnarly terrain. With a slight rocker in the nose, it’s designed to help you stay afloat when blasting through powder too.

The K2 Manifest is both Curtis Ciszek’s and Jody Wachniak’s weapon of choice. With a classic camber profile, the Manifest is an aggressive mountain charger with plenty of pop, stability and unparalleled edge hold. The subtle taper plays its part when charging through the deep, and the big nose helps to keep you afloat.
