We don’t know about you, but we’ve been wilting in this bastard heat. Normal service can just about be maintained as long as we take regular siestas and wear Gumby-style knotted hankies on our heads at all times.
What we could really do with is something like what Bracknell dry slope has dreamed up – namely their Splash Fest Jam, which returns on 22nd August 2015. In a nutshell, it’s a pond-skim event that offers a break from the usual summer sweat-fest.
After the last water is wrung from the clothes of the less fortunate, there’ll be live music and DJs to keep the summer vibes going into the evening. Details are still being worked out, so check back here for more – or alternatively call the centre direct on 01344 789030.
