Death Label Snowboards rip at Holy Bowly

The Death Label crew take over Holy Bowly

Sweet baby Jesus- It’s Holy effin’ Bowly. This year Mammoth Mountain played host to the fun filled phenom known as Holy Bowly. It’s the anti-thesis of a contest, it’s just a mish mash of some of the worlds best snowboarders sessioning the most insane and creative transitional park features that man can muster. 120 riders from around the world flocked to the heart of the Sierra Nevada for 5 days of progression and partying, it’s the 7th edition of the event, put on by Snowboy Productions who have become iconic in the snowboard world for events like It’s Tits, and Downtown Throwdown.

Death Label snowboards had 3 of their team riders invited along this year, Andrew Brewer, Yuka Kazukawa and the leather jacket wearing legend PJ Gustafsson took on the course and absolutely ripped shit up. The Death Label badboys went jumping, sliding, slashing and spinning their way round the course day after day, stacking mega footy and snapping some awesome photos.

Holy Bowly represents everything that’s right with snowboarding, it mixes the OG’s with the young guns, it mixes comp riders with the instagram stars- it’s the perfect mixing bowl to bring the whole industry together. The laid back nature of the event means that the riders are free to experiment and explore rather than focusing on winning medals and prize money, it brings snowboarding back to it’s roots.

Death Label are a rider owned and focused company hailing from Japan, they’ve got a mish mash of riders from round the globe with one thing in common- they all rip. Check out the photo gallery below for some more of the madness from the iconic and infamous Holy Bowly 2019.
