The second iteration of Arc’teryx’s Freeride Academy is landing in St. Anton in just a few short weeks and you’re invited! This annual event is definitely not one to be missed, it’s an opportunity to step out of your comfort zone, push yourself to the next level and learn new skills from some of the world’s top freeride athletes.
There’s an array of masterclasses and clinics hosted by Arc’teryx riders and ambassadors, including Eric ‘Hoji’ Hjorleifson and Silvia Moser and the terrain on offer is truly world class. Whether you’re entry-level or advanced, with 40 clinics to choose from, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. You can dip your toes into splitboarding with the beginner touring class, learn essential safety skills from avalanche experts, go freeriding with the maestros and even get top tips from the pros in snowsports photography.
There’ll be the latest and greatest gear innovations and products from some of your favourite brands for you to peruse and test, so this is the perfect opportunity to try some new kit and geek out. Aside from the action-packed days, Arc’teryx is hosting a multi-project film night, and what snowboard trip is complete without some après-ski? No one does it quite like the Austrians, so make sure to head to the Freeride Village to catch up with friends and finish your day off with a boogie and a drink in hand. Prost!
