Over the years the highlands of Scotland has produced some of the UK’s best snowboarders – but Jamie might top them all.
Growing up near Cairngorm meant that he was on snow from the age of 8, and was soon beig recognised as an amazing young talent. It wasn’t long before sponsors came calling, and he eventually found his way into Team GB’s program as well. He’s never happier than when lapping a stacked park, which may be why he decamps to Mayrhofen for the winter these days.
He’s a regular at the Brits, consistently making the podium in slopestyle, halfpipe and at the Bangers & Cash rail jam. Even with all this he still makes plenty of time to ride home turf, stacking plenty of footage at Cairngorm. His brother Angus rides too, and you can follow their various goings-on at thetrinders.com.
