Prior to 2013, we’d never heard of Anna Gasser. That all changed when she rocked up to an early-season session and became the first woman in history to put down a cab double underflip.
Since then she’s barely been off our radar, constantly at the forefront of slopestyle comps the world over. She managed a 5th place finish at the 2014 X Games, and qualified for the Olympic slopestyle final – although unfortunately for Anna, her time in Sochi will be remembered for the hilarious false-start fail, rather than for her runs.
Being the aimiable sort she is, Anna brushed it off and has continued to impress on the slopestyle circuit, adding a silver at the 2015 Burton US Open to her collection of gongs.
