The Brits is back with a vengeance. Now in its 21st year, the Brits has been the jewel in the crown of British snowboarding since its inception. Back in Laax, Switzerland the competition will run from the 21st – 28th March 2010 with enough snowboarding and partying action to ruin even the most hardcore of you out there. Hot of the press is the news of the music line up that everyone will be rocking out to after a hard days riding. Five slammin’ nights of the best music about and with the extra promise of an Air Guitar Rock Session and a 3-D Movie premiere it looks set to be the best event of the year. N.B. All air guitar shredders take note; Satan Whoppercock (aka Ed Leigh) will no doubt be gracing the stage with a performance to behold after his multiple wins at the British and World Air Guitar Championships.
First night at the Brits will have top DJ collective Scratch and the legend of British Hip Hop that is Rodney P alongside DJ Woody, who have been described “one of the most creative djing forces the UK scene has ever produced” by none other than previous Brits artists the Scratch Perverts.
Next up, DJ Adam Freeland will be bringing the electro scene to the Swiss mountains in a style it has never seen before. Check out his latest album ‘Cope’ to see just what a treat is on offer.
In true Brits fashion, the organisers are keen to get as many people involved as they can so they have come up with loads of chances ranging rom the 7” Throwdown night to the Animal Rock Night where they want to see the best spandex outfits your wardrobes have. The Extreme Sports Channel is giving you all a chance to take a small break from all the dancing with a 3-D movie premiere of ‘They Came From’.
