Thanks to the trailblazing efforts of Louie Vito, we’ve known for a while now that the price of snowboarding’s ever-growing public profile is having to watch the occasional pro take part in godawful reality TV programmes. In the same week that Torah Bright was forced to quit Oz’ Dancing With The Stars due to injury, Jamie Anderson has stepped up to fill the void.
The slopestyle machine has signed up for monstrous man-turd Donald Trump’s The Celebrity Apprentice, and will be competing alongside various people we’d probably know more about if we were American. Jamie will no doubt be hoping that there are plenty of transferable skills between snowboard and boardroom – but will this notoriously laid-back lady have the chops to win?
Of course, all celebs participating do so on behalf of a chosen charity, and Jamie’s picked Jeremy Jones‘ climate change awareness foundation, Protect Our Winters. For that reason, if nothing else, we hope she does well.
