The year was 1989. The Berlin Wall was being torn down brick by brick, beer drinkers the world over rejoiced as the first liver transplant took place, ‘Like a Prayer’ by Madonna could be heard everywhere and thousands of people started pretending to read ‘A Brief History of Time’.
Lots of important things happened that year, but none quite so significant as this. In October 1989, The Snowboard Asylum started life at a tiny booth at the Earls Court Ski Show, 30 years later there’s TSA stores all over the UK. A stalwart of British snowboarding, The Snowboard Asylum has captained the ship since the beginning. Now, they’re celebrating their landmark birthday with a ginormous bundle giveaway.
TSA have been proudly kitting out snowboarders across the UK for 30 years, and the old staff books read like a who’s who of British snowboard royalty. If you’re on the lookout for some new snowboard gear, or just fancy having a chat about Marcus Kleveland’s latest knuckle mind boggler then head in to one of the TSA stores. The staff all know their stuff and are always happy to spend the time to make sure you walk out with the correct set up.
